Trendy inner city
suburb, Surry Hills, is the place to be. With edgy bars waiting to be

1. Goros
Japanese-themed bar,
Goros, is one of Surry Hills' hottest spots. Decked out with arcade games,
karaoke booths and bright neon signs, this dimly-lit dive bar is one of the
coolest places to visit in Sydney. With an impressive saké list and
izakaya-inspired food menu, this eclectic bar will have you feeling as though
you have stepped out of Sydney and into the heart of Tokyo city. Pop in this
weekend to snack on gyoza while catching up with friends in one of Goros'
bamboo booths, and dance the night away to great tunes from some of Sydney's
top DJs. In the playing mood? Try your hand at the air hockey table while
sipping on a popping pearl cocktail. Goros lets you experience the weird and

2. El Loco
If you're already a
fan of El Loco at the Slip Inn, then you are sure to love the Surry Hills
version of this playful Mexican cantina. Like its Slip Inn sibling, this El
Loco location serves up all the classics, including the signature 'El Loco
Margarita' as well as the 'Tacos Secreto' (it's still a secret, but we're
working on it!). Salsa your way in to El Loco between 5pm and 7pm Monday-Friday
to enjoy $6 pints, wines and house spirits; and even better, $25 sangria jugs
on Sundays! With meals and drinks designed to be shared - just look at the
margarita jugs and 'sharing' menu - this is the perfect place to visit with
friends.
3. Li'l Darlin
Last but definitely
not least, you can't miss Surry Hills' sweetheart, Li'l Darlin. Serving up the
sweetest of the sweet in cocktails - think gummy bear- and fairyfloss-garnished
martinis - Li'l Darlin is the perfect spot to get your sugar fix. During Happy
Hour (5pm-7pm daily), these delicious cocktails are only $10 a pop! Talk about
a sweet deal! Feeling peckish? Don't miss out on Li'l Darlin's nacho and
antipasto share boards - perfect for snacking while chatting away with pals.
With live music, cozy seating and pretty decor, this is a spot you are sure to
fall in love with.
